04/07/13 - Los Angeles Day 2 - Anime Expo 2013 Day 1
Hey guys!I haven't been able to find time to blog this week :( I pretty much have something going on everyday which really sucks!! I just want to have time to relax and blog! haha. It seems like the next few weeks are going to continue being busy, but I hope to write blogs and edit more videos in my spare time!
Today I'm going to be writing about my second day in Los Angeles! It was the first day of Anime Expo 2013, so I was super excited to meet my blog readers and Youtube subbies!
Aino-san and I took a taxi to the convention center, because we thought we were going to run late if we take the shuttle bus. We got to the Liz Lisa store and then started setting up. Aino-san said that I could choose a dress to wear and keep, and I had been eyeing this dress since we were setting up the previous day so I chose it!
All of the girls who worked with Liz Lisa~
Some photos of the Liz Lisa store before we opened
The store we had comprised of 3 brands, Liz Lisa, Tralala and Liz Lisa doll.
Two staff came from Japan~!
Aino-san who came to San Francisco with me last year to work for Liz Lisa!
Ishiguro-san who is mainly based in Hong Kong and works for Liz Lisa there. I met him the previous year when Liz Lisa flew me over to Japan to meet me for the first time!
When we opened, I was introduced to Tricia from triciaisabela.blogspot.com ! I thought she was the cutest gyaru ever when I saw her the first time! She was super sweet too!
Wish I had better photos but I only took iphone photos :( :(
Some awesome cosplays! There were heaps more but I didn't have time to take many photos :(
On my break, I was able to walk around the con a bit, so I took a few photos
I went at the same time as Aino-san and Ishiguro-san for my break so we decided to across the road for some food!
I can't remember what place this was, but the service was really nice and so was the food!
It was a really long day and we were all super tired~ One of the guys who organized for all the gyaru brands to come to LA took us out afterwards to go to a supermarket so we can just buy some supplies and to dinner!
Prepare for a picture spam of streets in LA haha. Whenever I travel to different countries I always take as many photos of the streets as I can since it's so different to Australia!
You guys are probably bored of my photos LOL. I just took random snaps while we were driving to dinner hahaha.
For dinner we went to Kobawoo House which is a Korean restaurant in Los Angeles in Koreatown.
Yumm!
Some girls who worked at the store "Golds Infinity" which is another gyaru brand with a store in Shibuya109 came along for dinner too! They were super nice and I'm so glad I met them!
Sky, Nana & Rei!
By the time we finished dinner it was probably around 9pm. I was getting really tired cos I was a little jet lagged (we had like a 15 hour time difference :( ) and we had to also wake up early the next day. I was a bit bummed because I really wanted to watch the 4th of July fireworks but we weren't able to make it in time for that :(
And last of all, a big shoutout to my lovely subbies who came to say hi to me!
I did a collage everyday for my instagram! haha. Bigger photos of my subbies!!
Thank-you so much for saying hi to me!
Without all your support, I would've never been able to travel to LA, so I just want to say thank-you so much for your support for my blog over the years! Even though I've only been writing in this blog for about 2 years, I'm so surprised at the amount of people who kept on telling me to blog more! I will do my best for you guys!
xoxo
