05/07/13 - Los Angeles Day 3 - Anime Expo Day 2
Hey everyone!Today I'm going to blog about the second day of Anime Expo in Los Angeles! The second day was a lot busier than the 1st day, and I also got to meet more of my blog readers and Youtube subscribers!
My outfit in the hotel~
We took the shuttle bus to the convention center~
I love taking photos of streets of the places I go! It's just so different to where I'm from!
Inside the convention center~
Selfie before we opened~
During my lunch break I got to hang out with Anz Falcon! I've known her ever since I started making videos on Youtube, so glad I finally got to meet her!
I didn't take any other photos during the event, but I took photos with all the blog readers and youtube subscribers who said hi to me!
And your individual photos ^__^
HUGE thank-you to all of you who said hi to me! it really made my day and I'm so grateful to have so many wonderful people supporting me!
After the day was over, Aino-san and I decided to go back to our hotel and get some early dinner since we were both tired.
I had to chase this guy down to get a photo haha.
And one quick photo with Sky and Nana before we left~
I don't know my way around LA at all, and I don't know much about LA either. We got back to our hotel and I decided to ask the hotel receptionist to recommend us a place to go eat. He told us that Little Tokyo LA was close, and we could go there to eat. I was interested to have a look at Little Tokyo too since I have heard things about it!
We got lost once but I managed to find a Starbucks and they helped me out haha.
We made it to Little Tokyo though!
Really cute place! It was a lot smaller than I expected though
I went to Marukai Market! It's pretty much a Japanese supermarket that sells a lot of Japanese stuff, from food, to makeup, to everyday needs.
Makeup was really overpriced there though
Aino and I walked around to find a place to eat
We ended up going to a Japanese curry place!
It was so good!
That's it for my 3rd day in LA! I still got more coming so see you next time~!

Write commentsthe food looks so yummy and all your nice readers and subbys *__*
ReplyWhat an amazing trip *-*
ReplyAnd I'm not surprised by the fact that makeup was overpriced there...I mean, it happens the same here in Europe with online shops T__T A Fairy drops mascara end up costing more than 20 euros, between overpriced tags and expensive shipping :<
Anyway, the food looks amazing *-* Here we only have sushi (And sometimes tempura)...nothing like that! looks yummy *-*
And you are so nice!! I would love to met you <3
Please take care, have a nice day!*

ReplyYeah they were all super nice! So glad to have met them <3
ReplyYeah :( It's actually not too bad to buy online at sasa ( i think free shipping if you spend a lot?) I hope to meet you one day too! <3
ReplyOhh that's the name of it! haha, and thank-you!
ReplyAww thank-you! I have lots of travel posts coming up ^_^
ReplyAww really :( Maybe next time!
ReplyTo me it would be because of the custom services. Anything that comes outside of the UE stops for extra taxes - in my country this taxes are usually 23 to 25% of the package price + shipping (even If I didn't bought it, they will have it in account)
ReplyI always need to shop little amounts of products. Korean ones are easy, because some stores have nice shipping prices, but with Japanese products is harder. With some luck, I'll be able to get my hands into Japanese mascaras because of a friend that is going to move back to Macau...
It would be really amazing to meet you <3
I used to go to Marukai every weekend when I lived in california. It brings me back memories :)Theres also an another japanese supermarket called Mitsuwa. I like that one too :)
ReplyNext time you go to LA and have time, you should explore a bit more because Little Tokyo consists of that structure and a few pedestrian only streets. It's actually not that small. ^_^ I love Little Tokyo. Definitely one of my favorite places to just hang out in.
