13/02/12 - Tokyo DisneySea Part 2
Hi everyone!I asked you all on twitter what blog post you would like to see today, and the Japan category won! So as promised, today I'm going to blog about part 2 of my visit to Tokyo Disney Sea!
Continuing on from last time, in my previous Tokyo Disney Sea 2012 post, after the show we watched, we continued on ~
They have a lot of popcorn stands around
With very interesting flavours! Here is Milk Tea Popcorn. Unfortunately didn't buy any, no money LOL.
Joanna & I
Unfortunately my friends and I split up at the entrance gate since Joanna and I wanted to take our time to go around the park while the others wanted to go around to get fast passes to go on the rides. If you can, do try to get the fast passes on all the rides you want to go on. If you can't and if you want to ride a popular ride (like the Tower of Terror), you have to wait around 2.5 hours. The fast pass just lets you go straight through and skip the lines if you return within the time you are allocated. Some rides run out of fast passes by around 11.30-12pm so you have to get them as quick as you can.
Since my friends and I split and I do have their photos too, I'll just include some of the photos they took in the same area too!
Then we came across Thumper and his girlfriend from Bambi! haha.
Note: If you want to take a photo with these guys, you have to be willing to push in and ask the person who is taking the characters around to take a photo for you guys, or else you'll never be able to. The characters only go out for maybe 30 minutes each time, and everyone fights for a photo.
We managed to get a photo just as they were going to leave
We kept going around, there are a few rides around here. Bumper boats and the Storm Rider
These ducks are hell rude, they attack you if you have food and if you don't feed them
Strawberry Popcorn!
So the year before I had this REALLY good spicy smoked chicken leg which I had been craving for so long. Once you cross this bridge, you will find a place selling this, it is super delicious and I recommend everyone to get one!
That area was the Indiana Jones area. Didn't go on the rides since lines were too long, and since the others went to grab fast passes for us we didn't bother waiting.
Keep walking and you will get to the Aladdin world!
This is the Magic Carpet ride. It's new since it wasn't there when I went to DisneySea in 2011. It's a childish ride where you just sit in a little car thing and it just goes up and down slowly. The childish rides usually only have about a 15 minute wait or less so we went on it.
On the ride!
You can see lovely views on the ride
After that we went to Sinbad's Storybook Ride! This ride also doesn't have much of a waiting time
Outside the ride
Once you start walking into Aladdin's world, there is a place that sells Mickey churros just outside!
The Genie doing a meet and greet!
Souvenier shop~
The Genie was doing a show outside the Merry-Go-Round
Love this place! It's one of my favourites!
We decided to go on the Merry-Go-Round!
That's all for part 2! Part 3 will be my next Japan post~!
See you tomorrow!

ReplyI wish I could go there <3
Please Take Care, have a nice day!*
wow, they have a lot of palm trees there, wonder what kind they are. I just ate, but now I'm craving food again. If you do go back, tell me how the flavored popcorn is. Here it's mostly cheese, butter, and caramel corn, so strawberry and milk tea intrigue me. Also, happy belated birthday. It's been a while, but hope things are going well.
ReplyI actually tried some curry flavoured popcorn! That will be in the next part of my Disney Sea blog posts ^^ and thank-you!!
ReplyI'm sure you can one day! Thank-you! <3
ReplyAll the merchandise is so cute!!! I've always wanted to get that Mickey churro I keep seeing everyone eating in pictures.. I'm planning on going in the winter! So excited after seeing your fun pictures!
ReplyDisneySea is the best theme park ever. Loved Mysterious Island and the different types of popcorn. It’s clean, calm, and very orderly and the Disney staff are so kind. People there are so pleasant and we are going back again this year.
ReplyThank you so much for the information it did help us as we traveled to Tokyo Disney Sea. After going and working hard to make the most of it, I must say I don’t see how anyone could spend so many days there. We enjoyed our time but to me Tokyo Disneysea is form over function. The rides are beautiful, well prepared, thoughtfully presented but then the ride itself is, meh. We thoroughly enjoyed Tower of Terror, but all the other rides were either a bore or just ok. We were very thankful for the fastpasses because if we had to watch the posted 70 minutes for some of the rides we might have cried
ReplyThanks for your article!
