Korea Travel Diary: Day 2 - 01/04/2015
Hey everyone! It’s been a while since I blogged about my travels, I used to blog so much about them but kind of stopped because I felt that they were quite boring? Usually when I travel I take heaps of photos, and lately I just haven't really been sharing things like I used to, so I'm going to try my best to do more blog posts on my travels to give you guys ideas if you ever decide to go travel as well!
Today I'm going to blog about my second day in Korea back in March! I went to Korea for about 4 days, was a really short stay but overall I enjoyed it!
On the second day we decided to visit the N Seoul Tower. I've always wanted to visit the love locks area in Seoul so it was perfect! We took the subway to the stop, I can't remember exactly where it is but it was close to Myeongdong!
Look of the day~
We walked up small cute streets
"We have beer as cold as your ex girlfriend's heart" hahaha
To get up to the N Seoul Tower we had to take a cable car first~
Another random selfie
Buying tickets inside
Ticket~
Waiting for the cable car
On the cable car, the view was so beautiful!
The ride was only about 5 minutes
We walked up the stairs and we arrived at the Love locks at N Seoul Tower!
I thought it was amazing! SO many love locks everywhere, it was really cute!
Took a photo with the love locks~
It was actually my boyfriend's birthday that day (I know, I'm such a bad girlfriend for travelling and missing his birthday lol), so I decided to get a love lock to write a message. It was quite expensive though for a lock, I think it was around $7?
Selfie with the lock before I lock it up!!
I found a spot where there aren't as many locks, hopefully when I go back I'll be able to find it again!
We continued up and got to this area where you can wear the traditional Korean Hanbok for free!
They also had people dressed up for some shows
We were in line for about 20 minutes to try on the Hanbok for free. They were actually really strict and rushed us. They only allow you to wear it for about 3 minutes to take photos and that's it
After that we kept continuing up~
Quick OOTD~ I was wearing a top and dress from Taobao, shoes are from Liz Lisa!
Got to the N Seoul Tower! Here is my ticket to go up~
Inside~
We had to take an elevator to get up there~ They had this cool screen on the ceiling of the elevator
The view was so lovely from at the top of the tower!
Another selfie~ haha
I had to rush off after the N Seoul Tower since I had a meeting back in Myeongdong! For the meeting it was quite chill and we got some Mexican food!
After the meeting I went back to the shopping street of Myeongdong for a whole night full of shopping!! Myeongdong is a great place to shop! There are SO many clothing shops and makeup shops everywhere! I personally think it's like a much bigger version of Harajuku haha.
So much streetfood everywhere!!
Seriously, makeup shopping heaven!!!
I was so tired and I really wanted to rest for a few hours so I decided to go chill at a Hello Kitty cafe!
Ordered a green tea latte!
After resting I went to meet my friend Liah! She is also a Youtuber friend of mine! She took us to this really delicious chicken soup restaurant
Can never leave out dessert!!
And that's it for now! So sorry I have been neglecting this blog all year... I really hope once I get to Japan I will be able to get back into blogging and be able to blog a lot more!!
